New Project - PaperDolls Design

So excited to announce that we are working with PaperDolls Design on growing their logo and website design business. Companies and organizations of all sizes can benefit from their services and expertise. They can help with anything from simply modernizing a company logo to updating/creating a complete visual identity to include the logo, website, business cards, brochures, stationery, signage, and advertising. All this with reasonable pricing that even the smallest businesses can afford to make this critical investment.

Their dedication to ensuring they capture what their client is envisioning and their willingness to help develop that vision when needed make them such a unique company. Customer service may seem to be a lost art at times, but PaperDolls Design has a level of service that’s reminiscent of the past but provides results with the look of the present and future.

Back to Drawing Board

Always a bitter pill to swallow when things don’t go as hoped. We’ve had some challenges with our project with Neatoshop, most of which self-inflicted because we strayed from our original goal of thinking outside of the box. Amazing how quickly you can veer off course and fall into the trap of using the methods that are regurgitated vaguely in so many articles and posts. Our goal is original ideas and solutions.

We put a lot of time into some direct emailing and also tried some adwords campaigns, we narrowed our keywords and got a lot of clicks but not much activity beyond looking. While it yielded some results, we didn’t get the results we would have hoped.

So it is back to the drawing board, but we have to remember our original goal of thinking outside the box. Our client Neatoshop has amazing quality, has a platform with similar(actually more) capability to very large players in their industry, and they are a family owned business with appreciative and passionate service. This company is a rare find and we have to help get the word out, spread this secret so more people can benefit.

So our goal moving forward is to find some advertising and promotional partners that have customers in the same market segments that we are targeting. Surely, we can find some businesses that can see the benefit of providing those within their reach the merchandise opportunity that Neatoshop can bring. Also we’ll be searching for businesses that could benefit from working directly with Neatoshop to offer their customers a unique solution that they and Neatoshop can together provide.

In other news, we’re excited to now being working with another company that does logo and website design, they bring incredible talent and we’re looking forward into helping in every way we can. We’ll have more on that later.

First Project

We are so grateful for Neatoshop giving us our start with our first project. Neatoshop has long been known to have incredible quality prints on t-shirts and hoodies and have been the printer of choice for many artists and shirt designers. Our project has been basically to get the secret out and help Neatoshop grow.

We identified the following market segments that could be a good fit for Neatoshop:

  • Bands & Musical Artists

  • Small Brands

  • Charities & Organizations

Our initial focus is on Bands and Musical Artists. This mainly has been reaching out directly to bands and artists that have active profiles on sites used primarily by independent artists. This has yielded some results so far and our hope is as we get more bands and artists on board, it’ll provide some examples that will hopefully make it easier to recruit even more.

In the near future we’ll move onto small brands(YouTubers, bloggers, start-up apparel designers, etc..) and we think there is potential with charities and organizations when it comes to fundraising and events.

We’ve worked with a very talented graphic designer to design the graphic we’re using for this campaign, who we’ll talk about more on a later post when discussing another project we’re working on. This graphic was used to promote on social media with the link to the project page on our site which has a form that can be filled out if there is any interest. Unfortunately, we had to add some fields to this form and make them required to prevent fake emails from being submitted, this lesson was quickly learned. This should hopefully provide a good avenue for any inbound traffic we can generate.

This project has been very exciting and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can do with it. We’ll post some updates on this project in the future.

Journey Begins

The vision of what we’re trying to do appears so crystal clear when discussing it and tossing ideas around but when it came to presenting this vision in a way that could be easily understood……wow, that was not expected to be a challenge. It really was and still is a challenge that we face and are trying to overcome. While the concept is simple, explaining it becomes so complex. We simply want to help businesses, particularly small businesses, with achieving their goals. But when you state that then all the questions pop up, what kind of goals? What can we do to help? What areas are we able to help in? But the real vision we have has no bounds or guidelines. We want to be the needed extra sets of hands that can jump in and partner with businesses that are hungry and striving for more and be an asset that can help them get there. Whatever the area, we want to help. Marketing? Let’s do it! Sales? Let’s find some leads and get to work! Financial? Let’s do some analysis! Operations? Let’s improve some processes! Success is exciting and we want to share in this excitement with as many businesses as we can. We also want to build a network of businesses that can help us help other businesses as we go. Hopefully, we can build toward a community of shared success.

This is our first blog post of hopefully many more to come, because we want to document this journey. This won’t be a typical blog that crams in as many keywords as possible to help with our SEO and we also won’t be endlessly posting articles that rehash ideas of others. We hope to innovate and come up with some new ideas with the businesses we work with. We hope that we can work with some innovative businesses with passionate people along the way.

We plan for this to be a fun and exciting journey, sure there will be some bumps and we will share those just as we’ll share the wins.
